OSTEOPATHIC BOARD CERTIFICATION

Component 2: Lifelong Learning/Continuing Medical Education

Overview

Component 2 of the Osteopathic Continuous Certification process requires Diplomates to pursue lifelong learning through continuing medical education.

Pain Medicine is a subspecialty certification and, as such, all conjoint subspecialty certificate holders must abide by the requirement of their primary certification board. There is no additional CME required to maintain the Pain Medicine conjoint subspecialty certification.

Contact the conjoint committee to learn more about OCC Component 2 requirements.
