{"id":268,"date":"2017-02-23T21:59:31","date_gmt":"2017-02-24T03:59:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/aoa.dev\/anesthesiology\/?page_id=26"},"modified":"2019-02-08T09:37:33","modified_gmt":"2019-02-08T15:37:33","slug":"occ-overview","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/certification.osteopathic.org\/radiology\/occ-overview\/","title":{"rendered":"Osteopathic Continuous Certification"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Through the following components, board-certified physicians maintain Osteopathic Continuous Certification in the primary specialties of Diagnostic Radiology and Radiation Oncology and the subspecialties of Vascular and Interventional Radiology, Neuroradiology and Pediatric Radiology.<\/p>\n<p>All diplomates who have a time-limited certification from the AOBR are required to enroll and comply with OCC. Upon receiving board certification, diplomates will be automatically enrolled in OCC. There is an annual fee of $300 due by Dec. 31 each year that can be <a href=\"https:\/\/certification.osteopathic.org\/radiology\/all-exams\/\">paid online<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Update: Beginning on Jan. 1, 2019, the AOBR OCC process will incorporate the following changes to ensure the continued advancement of board certification processes and requirements.<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Component 2<\/strong> (Lifelong Learning\/Continuing Medical Education): Beginning in 2019, diplomates will be required to earn 60 specialty CME credits per three year AOA CME cycle.
