Testing centers announce temporary closures

Wednesday, March 18, 2020

The AOA Division of Certifying Board Services (CBS) continues to monitor the spread of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) with the goal of protecting the health and safety of board certification candidates, examiners and the public.

As a preventive measure, the two national testing providers that administer AOA computer-based board examinations, Pearson VUE and Prometric, are temporarily closing their testing centers through the end of April. This decision impacts all AOA specialty boards that have exams scheduled in March and April.

If you are registered for an upcoming exam, you will receive a cancellation notice from the testing center. Instructions for rescheduling your exam will be shared soon.

We appreciate your patience and understanding during this unprecedented time of uncertainty. We will continue to keep you informed as new information becomes available.
