New certification management system now live

We are excited to announce that AOA Board Certification’s new certification management system, the AOA Certification Portal, is now live. Providing physicians with the highest quality certification experience is our central goal. With this new portal, you will be able to find available exams, submit your application and receive your results with greater ease so that you can get back to what you do best: caring for patients.

The new AOA Certification Portal will be your primary resource for managing and tracking your AOA Board Certification process. Specifically, you will use the portal to:

  • Find and apply for exams: Applications are automatically filtered based on certifying board and exam requirements, meaning you will only see applications that are most relevant to you.
  • Check your certification status: Physicians in the process of becoming AOA Board Certified can review their progress toward achieving certification and manage current applications. Your personal dashboard provides details on exam attempts to date and the next steps in the certification process.
  • Get a snapshot of your Osteopathic Continuous Certification (OCC) components: AOA board-certified physicians can review their OCC components and apply for upcoming continuing certification assessments. The certification portal provides quick-access links to request updates to medical licensure, manage CME and review all OCC component progress.
  • Review your exam and payment history: The certification portal provides easy access to your previous exam registration information, including receipts and results. Additionally, payment methods can be saved to your profile, simplifying the registration process for future exams and assessments.
