Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology Certification Now Available

The American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine is pleased to announce a new certificate in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology, recognizing  the distinct and critical knowledge, skills, abilities and judgments that practicing physicians require in this specialty.

Applicants must be AOBIM board-certified specialists in cardiology. Eligible applicants must have completed three years of an ACGME- or AOA-recognized fellowship program in cardiology, followed by a one-year ACGME- or AOA-recognized fellowship program in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology.

The first application deadline to take the exam for this certification is Friday, Sept. 13, 2019; the final deadline is Sunday, Oct. 13, 2019. Exams will be administered at Pearson Vue testing centers Nov. 13–15.
