Component 2: Lifelong Learning (CME)

Overview

Earning the OMT designation through the Distinct Osteopathic Examination Committee pathway is considered a subspecialty certification. Therefore, diplomates fulfill this OCC component by completing the CME requirement for their primary specialty certification. No additional CME is required to maintain your OMT designation.
