Overview
Through the following components, board-certified physicians maintain Osteopathic Continuous Certification in the primary specialty of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.
OCC is required every 10 years for AOA board-certified physicians who received certification after Jan. 1, 2004. DOs who hold non-time-limited certification are encouraged, but not required, to participate in the OCC process.
