Component 4: Practice Performance Assessment & Improvement
Overview
Component 4 requires physicians to engage in continuous quality improvement through comparison of personal practice performance measured against national standards for their medical specialty.
Physicians are not currently required to complete quality improvement activities specific to Undersea and Hyperbaric Medicine. You can fulfill Component 4 by completing requirements for your primary certification in Emergency Medicine, Family Practice, Internal Medicine or Preventive Medicine.
