POFPS OMT Workshop 2025
8 a.m. – 12 p.m. CT on Sunday, July 27, 2025
Join the Pennsylvania Osteopathic Family Physicians Society (POFPS) in Hershey, Pennsylvania, for four hours of OMT training. Trainings will include OMT for the abdomen region, rib region, upper extremity and ENT. Credits are approved by AOBFP for Component 3 to maintain OMT Certification. The cost is $275 and space is limited.
Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment Board Recertification Course
8 a.m. – 6 p.m. ET on Saturday, Aug. 23, 2025
This intensive one-day course fulfills the hands-on osteopathic manipulative treatment (OMT) requirement for board recertification through the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians (AOBFP). The course begins with essential foundational concepts and progresses through eight focused modules addressing specific body regions and techniques. This course will also be open to any other osteopathic physician or osteopathic medical student interested. This course will be held in-person at the NYITCOM campus (101 Northern Blvd., Old Westbury, NY 11568). View the course description.

ACOFP OMT Next Level Courses at OMED25
Designed for practicing physicians with basic OMT skills or those MDs and DOs who have graduated from residency programs with osteopathic recognition, ACOFP’s Next Level OMT is intended to help attendees further refine their OMM diagnoses and treatment and bring those skills to the “next level.”
- OMT Next Level: Cervical Thoracic Spine
8 a.m. – 12 p.m. CT on Thursday, Sept. 25, 2025
This cervical thoracic spine section will consist of case-based presentations that focus on a brief review of diagnostic procedures for specific conditions where OMT is indicated (such as TMJ, torticollis, whiplash, thoracic outlet syndrome and upper cross syndrome), with most of the time devoted to hands on instruction of specific OMT techniques. This module is approved by AOBFP to count towards the recertification requirements from AOBFP for OMT. - OMT Next Level: Upper Extremities
1 – 5 p.m. CT on Thursday, Sept. 25, 2025
This upper extremity section will consist of case-based presentations that focus on a brief review of diagnostic procedures for specific conditions where OMT is indicated (such as epicondylitis, carpel tunnel syndrome and Dupuytren contracture) with most of the time devoted to hands on instruction of specific OMT techniques. This module is approved by AOBFP to count towards the recertification requirements from AOBFP for OMT. - OMT Next Level: Headaches
9:15 a.m. – 1:15 p.m. CT on Friday, Sept. 26, 2025
The headaches section will consist of case-based presentations that focus on a brief review of diagnostic procedures for specific conditions where OMT is indicated, with most of the time devoted to hands-on instruction of specific OMT techniques for specific headaches. This module is approved by AOBFP to count towards the recertification requirements from AOBFP for OMT. - OMT Next Level: Lower Extremities
1:45 p.m. – 5:45 p.m. CT on Friday, Sept. 26, 2025
This lower extremities section will consist of case-based presentations that focus on a brief review of diagnostic procedures for specific conditions where OMT is indicated (such as ankle sprain and fractures, ankle pain and foot pain), with most of the time devoted to hands-on instruction of specific OMT techniques. This module is approved by AOBFP to count towards the recertification requirements from AOBFP for OMT.
