Component 2: Lifelong Learning/Continuing Medical Education
Overview
Component 2 of the Osteopathic Continuous Certification process requires time-limited physicians to pursue lifelong learning through continuing medical education. To complete component 2 requirements in the primary specialties of Aerospace Medicine, Occupational/Environmental Medicine, and Public Health/Community Medicine, candidates must earn 60 CME credits over the 36-months of the AOA’s CME cycle.
