Applications and Payment

Overview

The written and oral examination will be offered on Oct. 15, 2026. Applications are open, and the first application deadline is Sept. 20, 2026. After this date, a late fee will be applied.

The AOA cancellation policy applies to these exams.

Primary Certification

Subspecialty Certification

Certificate of Added Qualification (CAQ) Occupational Medicine Written Examination

• Examination fee: $1,200
• Late fee: $360

OCC Cognitive Assessment

• Application fee: $295
• Full exam: $850
• Examination retake fee: $150
• Retake one exam part: $500
• Retake two or more exam parts: $750
